The Last Flight of the Atomic Adonis
illustrations by Rik Rawling (who else?)
Ermm... maybe this is one of those stories that should speak for itself! The back cover blurb from the original booklet says it all : "A tale of war, death, comradeship and lesbian lust in the upper stratosphere." Unashamedly inspired by the greatest novel of all time, Joseph Heller's Catch 22, and featuring (possibly) history's only ever all female bomber crew, the allegedly misogynistic and voyeuristic elements of this story were fully vindicated when it was republished in the lesbian SF zine, BLASTER ON HER HIP. Thanks for the vote of confidence, girls..... It remains, to date, my sole contribution to lesbian literature (unless of course you count my Sunday Sport foray, INTERCOURSE WITH A VAMPIRE, which I may be persuaded to dust off for this archive.....) Enjoy..............
